Zywa Jass

The houses stacked, the trams moving
aquariums, still lives lighted
for each other in the fore-night and in between

are police officers, waiting and juggling
with batons since there is a fair in town

heroes and goddesses ogle in underwear
in lighted billboards at the stops to desires
that don't need a name

it jazzes in town
the tram glides by

the rooms of little leisure
hours: a woman in bathrobe
is combed, at a table

two mouths are kissing
over full glasses

romantic music around the corner
and the rest you can guess
it jazzes in town

the tram glides by, house after house
the room fish swim along

in the big glass tank of my eyes
an orgy of waving tails
and restless kissing mouths
