Forty, my body flames again
for a while, maybe six more years
The glands in my breasts engorge
my desire, with big eyes
I bounce between decency
and groping, tripping
over crooked paving stones
spying for an opportunity
Where is my husband now
that I need him to rip my clothes off?
Doesn't he smell
that he should be with me?
The foreplay of my wrap skirt
a raised leg, the winking
of my half-hidden butterfly and
the promise of my powder puff
