I dreamt I saw the Great Soul go
like a stray dog, truly free
She was walking down the road
amazed at what She did see
Although her clothes once white were soiled
her laugh was pure and gay: Please come and walk a mile with me
It is a lovely day!
Wait, here I come, I called to Her
then I woke up thanks to this scream
I longed for peace to come
and trusted that my dream
shall be dreamt by many sleepers
at night and during the day
that they will work together
without violence, profit or delay
I dreamt I saw the Great Soul go
forever hearty and hale
looking out for free souls
not sold and not for sale
And weeping softly in my bed
I knew, I won't be led astray
I felt, from now on, from today
She will show the way, She'll show the way
