A lot has changed, old wishes have been passed for new circumstances and memories remained the way it was I cherish what we shared satisfied with what is nearby We were close and now we search for a hold as strangers who cannot stay long from mutual awkwardness Do we still know each other and do we want to make a new start or should we move then? Let's celebrate who we were let's celebrate who we are and embrace each other intimately
We didn't need anything we just bumped against each other and lay together, if so, a nest of friends, who know to find each other no matter how far we've flown out Become angels, who would have thought! Our soul connection so familiar at first sight at each reunion - forever young is my chicken heart then, my skin of flesh and blood, forever young our spirit - but oddly detached are our wings our cheeks and the air kisses that escape my lips or have transcended them
Wordless reunion first, I sense his flanks his hands over my back with closed eyes pressed against each other who knows the time Then, with all our muscles talking our naked self reflected in the love of one another's soul: we are inviolably strong (though we do have doubts) Over the roots of breathing and eating we are singing life in different words with the same meaning
You almost cycled on en route in your mind but somewhere on the edge you did see me, standing here gingerly we take the frays of the past feeling, would it be possible to knot a nice bow out of it I don't know what you wanted, then maybe it was like you said or did you long for more nonetheless? You came too close to me I don't know but this is clumsy with the bike in the street and so I live nearby do you have time?
You went away, I went on loving you and out of the blue there you are at my door with a sleeping mat I just sit and watch You drop anchor and want to show all kinds of things, explaining them with your hands and I have no idea how this started It all goes by itself I am glad I was home, am home I make soup there is rye bread We are hungry Old hunger
Now and then it happens unexpectedly that someone smells like you looks and laughs like you suddenly begins to dance just like you or, out of the blue says words you once said At a reception in a large building I see a man talking to a woman and yes, I long for you because of him, his constitution Hey, don't you remember me? Come on! he laughs jovially It's him, and not, I know him differently, cooler, more special We start a neutral talk in search of a goal that is empty not defended or too late we play by feeling neither of us is free we fail to come closer in public and to match again
